Since the last 20 years 7 Media Dubai, Mini Sarma have been successful as a Producer, Line producer and actively been pursuing varied interests within the film and television industry globally. Experience of implementing successful production management which can be applied in fields of film production, post production, film & television workflow practices. As a General Manager of 7Media manages an award winning team that has worked across the globe in feature film projects.
Producer, Director, Floor Manager and Profit Center Head for NTV Seven television network a part of Encorp Media - Malaysia and a key role in the establishment and training of production staff. Co-Producer for feature film and theatre company “Enfiniti Productions” for the multi award winning period feature film “Puteri Gunung Ledang” ( 2004) which was in competition for Academy awards. Also Co-produced Taxi Driver, west Side Story, Susuk, JEJAK RASUL, Keliwon.
Cast talent, manage the creative development, develop spin-off business and new projects. Arranges qualified meetings between potential accredited investors and serious film makers who have done due diligence, and have production worthy properties. Consults on creative development and production. Recruits and works directly with screenwriters to enhance storylines, refine dialogue, and tighten shooting scripts. Research and Develop cost-effective production pipelines using proven models, for TV market –Sun Network & NTV Seven . Producer TV Series– Who wants to be a Milionare Malaysian version , Miss Chinese Universe , Celebrity squares , Sarwak Music Festival , AIM awards - NTV Seven Malaysia Sun Network - Various production roles for over 4 years, as a Producer/ Director for acclaimed & award winning Programs Producer of various short films which won international awards – Kalpidam, Sex, Drugs and Money, Kutci Ice. Line Producer for Thantoni, Gadhama and Arabiyum Ottagamum Madhavan Nairum (A Priyadarshan film) 7 Media - Dubai - as a Producer/Line Producer and Development for film / media productions & events design, focusing on film, Commercials, Music to secure funding and distribution, deploy marketing strategies and further develop the business. (2008- present).
